About this blog

Game prototypes and the things I learn while making them.

Prototypes and experiments

Dark Phase Studios is the name I use for my game projects. I'm drawn to small, readable worlds: PS1-era low-poly characters, pixel art, and tight arcade loops.

I'm still making prototypes. This blog is where I write down how they're going: modeling and rigging in Blender, testing things in Unity, debugging exports, and trying to make the pieces work together.

The first devlog here is about Ruin Diver, a third-person action prototype about exploring ruins and hauling your finds back to a shop.

For my writing on AI, science, and software, head to Rolling Clouds.
